A New Friend

The day we found out Molly was going to be Molly and not, well, not a boy, Damian said to me, "I'm so glad she's a girl. Now we don't have to worry about a bris." Just the idea of it gave Damian cold sweats. Our good friends, Behnaz and Arash, just threw their second bris, so imagine how they feel! But we know it's all worth it for Molly to have a new friend. And this one is smaller and easier to push around. We'll give little Shayan some time before we let Molly loose to pull his hair and bite his fingers, but he's got an older brother so he's probably used to it by now, right? Mazel Tov to the family, and thank you to Aunties De and Hilla who entertained Molly so Mommy could enjoy the bris, well, the food at least.
