The Birthday Girl...Then and Now

This is Molly Aberdeen on her first day home from the hospital. She was under 7 lbs. A snuggly little peanut, she ate, slept, and, you know, but mostly slept.
And here's our BIRTHDAY GIRL! At 12 months, Molly has nine, yes NINE, teeth (including two molars and another about to break through), is nearly walking (she's taken a number of steps on her own, though she prefers to use a walker or hold Mama or Dada's hand), clearly makes her desires knows through pointing, signing, and some "words", and even says some words clearly! Dada, Mama, diaper (in that order) were her firsts. Molly's favorite word now seems to be "uh-oh" when she says everytime she drops somthing. Really, it's everytime she throws someting to the floor. Luckily she also does the picking up now.
Molly is also becoming more interested in books as she learns to identify the objects. She's especially good at duck, dog, apple, bird, and flower (which she leans in to smell!). Molly's also learning about the body and will point to eye, nose, mouth and tummy...and sometimes eyebrows (that's my girl!). Posted by Picasa
